General Terms and Conditions

1. Provider and scope

Timir is provided by Castor Pollux GmbH, Sterleyer Straße 6, 23879 Mölln, Germany, email: moin@timir.de. Full provider details are in the legal notice. These terms apply to use of the Timir web app where they have been included in the relevant contract of use. Individual agreements take precedence.

2. Services and contract

Timir helps creators and their teams plan and organize social media content and related business processes. This can include connecting supported platform accounts, transferring approved content, and displaying available profile, video and statistics data. The specific scope depends on the chosen offer, the functions available in the app and the interfaces approved for the account.

A contract of use is formed when your Timir account is set up and activated with these terms included, or by a separate agreement. The social media calendar and the publishing functions included in the free offer are free of charge. Paid services require a separate explicit order; you will be told the price, scope, term and cancellation terms before concluding it.

3. Account and permissions

You provide accurate information when registering, protect your credentials and tell us if you see signs of unauthorized access. You may only connect platform accounts that belong to you or that you are expressly authorized to manage. If you act for a team, a management company or a business, you must have the necessary authority.

4. TikTok and other platform connections

Connecting TikTok is voluntary and requires a suitable TikTok account and your approval on TikTok's authorization page. The permissions shown there determine which data and functions Timir can access. Depending on your approval, Timir can display your profile, your public videos and available metrics, and transfer content you select to TikTok. Profile and statistics data are only available to the extent TikTok provides them through the approved interfaces.

Before approving a transfer, you check the content, target account, description, visibility, interaction settings and any required advertising labels. Connecting an account alone is not an instruction to publish. A scheduled transfer takes place on the basis of your expressly approved publishing instruction. Whether content is published directly or handed to TikTok for further editing depends on the function selected and available.

Your use of TikTok is also subject to TikTok's terms of service, its community guidelines and the music and advertising policies relevant to your content. You are responsible for complying with these rules and with the legal requirements for your content. Timir is an independent service of Castor Pollux GmbH; TikTok is operated by the respective TikTok companies.

If you connect a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Timir uses YouTube API Services for this; details are in the section on the YouTube connection.

Platform connections depend on each platform's availability, approvals, technical limits and rules. Changes, disruptions or restrictions of TikTok's interfaces can limit individual functions. We do not promise any particular publishing success, reach or unchanged scope of TikTok's interfaces. Statutory claims and expressly agreed services remain unaffected.

You can remove access in TikTok's settings for connected apps or ask us to disconnect at moin@timir.de. Without valid permission, pending publishing instructions and data retrieval cannot be carried out. Content already transferred to TikTok is not automatically deleted by disconnecting and must be managed on TikTok.

5. Content and rights of use

The rights to your content remain with you or the respective rights holders. You grant us only the non-exclusive rights necessary to store and technically process your content as part of your instructions, display it in Timir and transfer it to the platforms you select. This does not permit any further use of your content.

You ensure that you hold the necessary rights to images, video, text, music and other elements and that you respect the rights of people shown. Unlawful content, spam, circumventing platform restrictions and misusing other people's accounts are prohibited.

6. Data protection

Information on data types, purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention and your rights is in our Privacy Policy. Information on the TikTok connection is in the section on the TikTok connection. You can send deletion requests to moin@timir.de. Processing by TikTok is subject to TikTok's own privacy policy.

7. Ending use

You can stop using the free offer at any time and request deletion of your account at moin@timir.de. The terms and cancellation conditions agreed at the time of contract apply to separately agreed paid services. The right to terminate for good cause remains. The retention and deletion of personal data follow the legal requirements and the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Statutory rights

Statutory provisions apply to defects and damages. Mandatory statutory rights, in particular consumer rights, are not limited by these terms.
